Did not post this in Car forum as its more consumer issue
I bought a car battery in Fast Fit back in May of this year. Today the car would not start and had to get a mechanic, who I know. He told me it was the battery and showed me the level on it was low. So had to buy a new one from him
Went back down to fast fit, dont have receipt, they checked their records on the computer and my purchase was not on it. I believe there is a one year guarantee for batteries. They then told me they can look for the dockets and maybe give me a new battery. Paid by laser and I can see it on my statements. I told them I dont want a new battery I want my money back. They said they cannot do this
Are they right and if not what can I do say or contact in relation to this ?
Cheers
