Hi Guys Just Had An Electrician In To Check The Wiring In My Old House He Did Tests At The Fuse Box And Told Me That The Fault Loop Impedance Was Very High And A Lot Of Work Would Have To Be Done To Sort It Out Does Any One Know What This Means And What The Correct Amount Shold Be Cheers Guys

When a fault occurs in a circuit enough current must flow to either blow the fuse or trip the MCB, but if the impedance of the fault loop is too high then this may not happen.
The correct values depend on where the measurement is taken and the type of fuse/MCB in the circuit.
This is a safety issue, so don't ignore your electrician's warning.
