fish fingers, rashers, chops, chicken breasts, sausages, pudding, steaks, waffles.. anything youd grill. Experiment. Ive tried raw veg but found onions are the only thing that comes out ok. they say you can do sliced potatoes but I dont like them out of the george. If you leave something on too long under a normal grill it'll burn, do that on the george and it'll dry out so get your timing right. e.g. 12 mins for chicken breasts, 2 mins to heat up and then 10 for cooking. Perfect every time.
for cleaning, as other posters said it needs to be still hot, then kitchen roll works every time for me. If you didnt bother cleaning straight away, turn on for 2 mins and then a quick wipe does the job practically every time. alternatively, use a finger nail and mouth approach mmmm chops and rasher bits...
You wont have a problem with smoke alarms as its only steam coming off, not carbon whatsits that are produced by burning from a grill.
