Fastest way to pay MBNA credit card

I need to know the fastest way to pay MBNA. I need my card cleared so I can book car hire and hotels in America for my trip in Febuary. I can pay them online from my AIB account but that will take 5 days to hit MBNA. Would posting a cheque be any faster or paying at a post office?

They'll probably be faster about giving you a credit limit increase.

I usualy pay on one day before 1200 AM and it is on my MBNA account reflected arround 1000 PM the next day.

But I agree with GeneralZod, Credit Limit increase is way faster!

Thanks for the suggestions. They won't up my limit because it's a new account less than 6 months old.

How long will it take if i pay in the PO with a cheque?
