Hi just wanted some advice, have been out of work for about 9 months now and finding it difficult to get hired like many others Im sure, had looked into the internship scheme as an option by Fas Officer, while the companies Ive come across are not willing to train nowadays because there is alot of professionals ready to step into the positions readily experienced I just think the offering of 50 Euro on top of my dole is a little dishartening since I won't be offered a job after the 9 month period and travel costs will eat up the allowance. Its offering a 39 hour week for approx 260pw(in my case) which is probably under the minimun wage, am I better to keep looking for work for a salary that I can pay my bills or does anyone have any advice if its a good programme. I have a mortgage and 2 children to support and am in the same boat as many others out there. thanks again for any advice.

I would imagine that by doing the FAS internship you are going to make yourself more employable. But while doing it, you could keep looking for a job and if something suitable comes up then great! If not, well at least you will have improved you CV in nine months time by having done the internship. I hope things go well for you either way.

Many thanks for the advice you could be right just go for it and hope all works out
