Hi , Thinking if buying a 2 bed Apartment Property in Farmleigh/Whites Road near to Castleknock village . Has anybody hear good/bad reports about the area , thanks

Regards, jumper1

The houses that have been built look fab and the spec was very high in them - full of extras, which they charged extra for too though.

The area is lovely, near enough to be able to walk to shops in CK village and the pubs and restaurants and other amenities like schools and you would be literally on the park doorstep.

The only negative things are that the traffic in CK village is quite heavy at peak hours and also the noise from the M50 is audible.

Great area close to the park & castlekock village, not to far from town
Downsides the price and the traffic everyone has big jeeps in castlekock so the roads are choker

Live near there---it's great to cycle to town through park--best mode of transport, as roads carry all traffic for the whole of dublin15 and meath thru village of CK--AWFUL--with filthy clothes on lines, filthy curtains and noise at all times in gardens/balconies etc, no supermarkets nearby-you have to drive to Blanchardstown. Local tiny shops charge anything they like--very dear. That is the downside. The biggest upside is nearness to town.
