Fan Belt came off???

Driving home this evening and my fan belt came off, have never heard of this happening before, what do I do??? Engiene has cooled down now

If the belt hasn't broken, loosen the alternator bolt, and push the alternator in to allow you to refit the belt, then pull alternator out to tension the belt but not tooo tight and just tighten up the bolt.

If your belt came off your alternator is probably allready loose and just needs to be adjusted and tightened as above.

cheers pudds got it back on this evening...not sure if it will stay on though, fan belt isnt damaged though, not sure if it is safe to drive though
