Famiy hotel near Victoria apollo London

Going to London in January to see Wicked, looking for a good family hotel near the Victoria Apollo

Hotels in Victoria aren't great IMO but the theatre is directly opposite Victoria station which is served by several tube lines. We usually stay at the Hilton Metropole on the Edgeware Road which is directly across the road from the tube station on the line to Victoria.

i've stayed in the Park Plaza which is 2 minutes walk from Wicked (the musical is fantastic, btw).. but there are plenty of smaller hotels etc in the area (such as http://www.hiexpressvictoria.co.uk/ which I havent stayed in)

Also, as shesells mentioned the victoria tube station is very close and will bring you almost anywhere in london
