I normally go to liverpool for football, and we stay where ever the group of us stay normally, 20. Liverpool is a great City, lovely people. I want to take my wife on a shopping week-end, and my 9 year old on the Anfield experience

Can anybody recommend a family, room only hotel in central Liverpool. Also family resturants which are central.
 
The Premier Inn at Albert Dock is good for families.

Also at Albert Dock, there is the What's Cooking restaurant - a good burgers and ribs place with booths.

Albert Dock is a short walk from the new Liverpool One shopping centre.
