Family on the breadline. Help please.

I was on JA and then I was means tested for JB. As a one income family I was told that my husabnd earned too much. His net pay is 550. pr week. We have two children un 10. Between mortgage and bills we are on the bread line. Am i entitled to anything or can I re apply for social welfare.

You may be entitled to FIS (Family Income Supplement) which is paid to low-income families.

Yes, on a net family income of €550 per week with two children, you should be entitled to FIS. The weekly income limit for a family with two children is €602. FIS will be 60% of the difference between net family income and €602 - so in your case 60% of (602 - 550) = €31.2 per week.
