Would like to take a family holiday in the Algarve, Portugal in 2009. Booking direct. Any recommendations for complex with plenty to do for teenagers?:confused:
 
Yes- nothing helpful. Just don't want to be nagged for two weeks about "nothing to do"!

Clube Albufeira sounds ok. Anyone had the experience?
 
We stayed at Clube Albuferia last summer 2007, had a really enjoyable holiday there, with two 16yr olds and a 5 and 6yr old. Although, that said we still had the 16yr olds saying they were bored at times... there is a fantastic restaurant on site which we used almost every night, excellent food. It takes about 20 mins walk into Albufiera centre, a lot of traffic on this road, no footpaths for a distance. Safer to get the bus across at the campsite opposite Clube Albufeira, takes about 7 mins or a taxi will cost 5 euro, although evening times are a nightmare trying to get a taxi out of Clube Albufeira. There is entertainemnt at nightime across in the campsite for the teenagers disco etc, we didnt venture across but we heard it was ok... the old town of Albuferia is lovely, I liked it a lot.. hope this helps!
