Family holiday in Italy

I want to organise a holiday for 2 kids - 6 and 8 and hubby and I in late June/early July in Italy - near a sandy beach with lots for kids to do and maybe some nice walking routes. Any suggestions?

For the past 4-5 years I have been travelling to Riccione, near Rimini. Riccione is situated on the east of Italy along the beautiful Adriatic coast.

Beautiful beaches and plenty of things to keep the kids occupied.

We usually stay in Hotel Tre Rose ([broken link removed]), only a minute walk from the beach.
