Family Holiday abroad in mid-March

Hello all, can someone help me find a good travel desitination in Mid-March? Travelling are myself, my good wife and our two kids aged almost 3 and almost 2. I've seen recommendations for Menorca but I think it might be too cold in March. Also, Lanzarote & Fuertoventura might be too windy. Also, I'm a bit nervous about having my son (~2) stuck in an airplane for 4 hours! We've considered going around Ireland but we need a bit of heat. Any advice would be appreciated.

Menorca would be far too cold. I think I was there the first week in May and the sun wouldn't be warm before 11am and it would be nippy by 6pm. Fuereventura is windy, Lanzarote might be okay. I was there in June, don't know about March. I know my mother was in Malta in March one year and the weather was fine. You'd need jumpers with you no matter where you go at that time of the year.
