Press I'm Feeling lucky and what pops up

True or a conspiracy :confused:
 
I have a vague memory of how this happens. A group of people link to the page, with 'failure' around the link. Google picks up on this, and thinks that this is a good link for the word 'failure'.

They are taking advantage of how the search algorithm works.

Then again, maybe it's nothing to do with the above...
 
It never lasts. If google find this being done they put negative scores against site being bombed. (apparently). then again, whos to say google arent putting one massive score against that word and that site. ;) theres a google hack pdf knocking around the web. well worth a read if youre into that kind of thing.
