Just reviewing my AIP document, AIP was given for €300k.
At the foot of the document it has a few comments, ie - 2nd payslip required etc, but namely 'bill for extra works required prior to cheque issue'-what does this refer to?
Thanks
I applied for the Approval in Principal just to determine what our approx budget would be to purchase a new build. We are first time buyers. does this make any sense?Maybe it is just standard wording?
It doesn't particularly sound like standard wording. Is the house fully finished or is additional work needed? If the latter I would think they are looking for costings to complete.
It may be a new clause they are including as lenders are more hesitant now to give additional funds within a short period to complete the house mainly due to the recent trend of valuations sometimes being lower than the proposed purchase price by the time the cheque draws.
