I need advise on the following, I applied to FAS to become a training provider in early 2010, I more than satisfy all the qualifying criteria and I was looking at this as an opportunity that would allow me to become self employed. I have been out of work for 2 years now. The application process and subsequent adjudication process went on for almost 2 years, which in my opinion is ridiculous by any measure. I complained and made protestations to the Minister responsible for Fas about the excessive waiting period and the non responsive attitude from the department in question.
My application was deemed unsuccessful earlier this year and I believe that it was as a result of my protestations. Can anyone advise
What recourse do I have ?
Is there a ombudsman to which I can refer this matter to?
