Extending ringing period on O2 Mobile

How can I extend the length of time my phone rings when someone is calling me. At the moment it's about 16 seconds but that's too short for me to get to it some times.

I have a Motorola V3 on O2 pay as you go (speakeasy I think)

Don't know the phone but I think that some ringtones 'play' for longer than others - so changing the ringtone might help a bit?

This should work:

**61*<voicemail number>**<ringtime># then press send or call button

Voicemail number is your mobile number with a 5 between the 08X and the number, e.g for 0861234567 use +3538651234567. It must be in international format.

Ringtime is number of seconds in 5 second increments. 30 is the max.

So to extend the number above's divert time to 30 seconds it would be:

**61*+3538651234567**30# then press send or call button

This may work for pay monthly only though according to O2 website

Cheers for that... I actually found that on the O2 site just after I posted the question but it comes back as not available...

Must not be possible.

Ring the Speakeasy helpline and ask them to increase it for you.
I have had to do this in the past.
