It's difficult to say with the information you've provided although, in my opinion, extended warranties are poor value for money.
What is the normal warranty?
How much is the additional warranty and what additional period does it cover?
Would the additional warranty contain the same conditions as the original or would there be "exclusions" to take account of the car's advanced age, etc.
