I have an investment property (2 storey house) that I bought a few years back. It is Pre 63 and is divided into 2 flats.
I want to add an extension to the side and the back of the house, which will effectively be increasing the size of each unit (but also keeping in mind that I might convert the house back toa single dwelling in the future).
Does anyone know what is the planning permission situation in relation to this? As they are pre 63 should it be easy get planning for an extension to them? I would imagine if you were to try and convert a similar house on the street to two units nowadays you would get refused.
