I think that's without the day to day expenses add-on?I had a quick look at day to day cover. Only 1 GP visit a year, max refund is €40. I go to GP once a year, this year it was 3 times but that's unusual.
OK. Thanks for clarifying. I'm not due to change until may so will look closer nearer the time.I think that's without the day to day expenses add-on?
I made a mistake earlier but deleted my post because it was misleading.
I think if you add on the day to day expenses option the refunds are more extensive.
NOW I'm excited! Not overexcited, but only had a cursory look.
Plan B brings back memories...
What is day to day cover under Plan C ?I made the switch yesterday, no brainer. I was with irish life health guide 1 last year costing 1296. I was quoted 1517 last week for the exact same plan for renewal in December. I purchased plan c yesterday for 1220 for virtually the same plan or very close to it. My home insurance renewal is due also. I was quoted 400. I will get 50% off here. I also have car insurance with aviva. Not yet due for renewal but I will get 15% off here. Plan c also covers travel insurance which will save me 100 euro. This new offering is very worthwhile in my view.
NOW I'm excited!
I've had a good look at Plan D and believe it blows my Laya Simplicity policy out of the water in virtually every department!!
See post #29What is day to day cover under Plan C ?
If a couple takes out a Plan and have 2 cars does 15% discount apply to both ?
My Simply Connect Plus policy is up for renewal at the end of this month. Plan D will cost €120 more, has a €125 outpatient excess, and appears to cover only €20 of the cost of an xray. But there are no excesses on hospital stays or day case treatment, a higher day to day/outpatient limit, plus possible saving on house insurance.Plan D seems way too cheap compared to the other insurers high end plans - I am looking for the catch!
Me and my husband are on Laya Inspire Plus. Haven't got renewal premium yet but will be switching to Plan C too.My Simply Connect Plus policy is up for renewal at the end of this month. I will have to sit down and compare the two carefully, using the past year's claims as a reference point. I'd already ruled out Simplicity as not saving me any money.
However, my husband is on Laya Inspire Plus - renewal quote €1633 - and unless I'm mistaken Levelhealth Plan C will be a no brainer for him.
