Just need a bit of input on this.
We're deeper in debt now, thanks to the dear old recession etc and, for the last year or so have an (in my view) significant balance due on my personal credit card.
I'm reducing this as and where I can but wife wants to cut it up to fully prevent spending on it and therefore I approached my company (small enough outfit) to request a company credit card that I can take abroad, use and return to their safe keeping after every trip. All expenses would be as normal, vouched etc but they're refusing and pushing me to take a credit card in my name specifically for use with company business.
I travel extensively and on the odd occasion where I'm late submitting the expenses, or the finance manager is travelling, the expenses can be overdue.
In this day and age I do not want to be difficult but its a balancing act between work and home and if I'm honest, I see no reason to not be named on a company card and find their obstinacy a little more than irritating..
Any views ?
Thanks
