I'm not sure that the title explains what I'm looking for but I'm trying to figure out how I can expand all the programs when I go in to Start - Programs. At the moment only the last few installed programs show up and it bugs the poop out of me!

How about ...

Right click on the menu Start button/taskbar and choose Properties -> Start Menu property page -> Customize... -> Advanced property page -> Start menu items -> scroll down to Scroll Programs and turn if off it it's on. Does that help at all?

Clubman, you are a gem! I send 1,000 cyber kisses to you at this moment! It has bugged me for months and just couldn't get to the bottom of it. I have been in to that Menu so many times in the past and had everything enabled. Turning off Scroll Programs didn't work but turning off Use Personalised Menus did. Thank you yet again....

Better than somebody threatening to post their pooh I suppose!

Why have you got the Classic Start Menu rather than (XP) Start Menu enabled? The Use Personalised Menus option appears only when the former and not the latter is enabled. I use the latter and the Scroll Programs option controls whether or not all programs are displayed or if you have to scroll a single column to see them.
