exotic plants that can grow in ireland

I'm thinking of the summer already..
Can anyone give me a list of exotic colourful plants that can grow in Ireland. Where could I get these type of plants or is there anywhere on the web that lists the types that can grow in Irish weather..

I want to give the garden a good overhaul!

I would suggest that unless your garden is nice and sheltered that you will be making a lot of work for yourself ... protecting delicate plants from the elements. Good luck.

How about these two plants. Certainly not exotic but they have existed in Ireland for a number of years and are threatened by overexposure. They are scappaticci vulgaris and donaldson variegata.
