Hi

Is a Solicitor precluded by law from providing an Executor with a copy of a will when the person who made the will is still living?

Thanks

If the testator is still living, the will is of no concern / no business of the named executor. It is confidential between client and solicitor. Besides, between now and the time of death, the testator could change the will, the executor, or anything else. The last thing anyone wants are copies of out of date wills floating around.
