Excess balance on loan?

I got a letter from AIB today informing that there is an excess balance of 50 euros on a loan i recently topped up as of the middle of last month - I'm not actually sure how this happened, as they aren't due to take the "first" repayment on the new loan until the start of next month, but I must have overlooked it I think because the loan isn't with the bank I have my current account with. I've met every repayment up till now and am going to transfer money into the loan account tomorrow, but I'm very concerned about the impact this may have on my credit rating. Has anyone experienced similar or have any advice?

On ICB ,Banks do a monthly run , it means that any (arrears) should not show up until after one month.

However some Banks I knew ,just picked a date and if you were 2 days late it could show against you.

Write to AIB and ask for note to confirm your ICB is not affected.

Also in 3 months send 6euro50cents to ICB , you can get forms online and get your ICB report (just to confirm).

If I could trust any Bank , I would say no problem , but I do not trust them.
