I was playing about with settings in excel and now everytime I enter a number the inputed number is divided by 100. I have gone in and tried formatting number to no avail. Wondering if anybody might have any ideas how I can remedy this?

Not sure if I can help.

I went into "Tools" "Options" and selected the "Calculation" tab.

I can't copy and paste for some reason but the settings I have are

Automatic

"Iteration" is not selected

I have no idea if this has anything to do with your problem, but you could check just in case.

Otherwise, there are other geniuses on here who should be able to help :)

Try this.
You have "fixed decimal places" turned on.
Go to Tools>options>edit tab>uncheck fixed decimal places.

I suspect you have changed the settings for Excel to 'Automatically insert decimal point'.

In Excel 2003:
As Mizen Head said above, Go to Tools. Options, Edit Tab, 4th item down is Fixed Decimal Places, Clear the 'Tick', 'OK' out, or
In Excel 2007:
Go to Office Button, click on 'Excel Options' button (bottom of window beside 'X Exit Excel' button)
Click 'Advanced' from options in left side column.
Second Item down will be 'Automatically insert decimal point'
Clear the 'Tick', 'OK' out.
