European Medical Insurer - Tax Relief

There is currently tax relief at source on medical insurance from VHI, BUPA etc.

Tax relief can also be got on policies with other european based insurance companies.

I'm told there is a list somewhere of these companies but can't get hold of it.

Anyone any ideas? The two companies I'm enquiring about are based in the UK and Denmark

I'm not so sure about this. See page 26 of this Revenue Tax Briefing for a list of the Authorised Health Insurers under the Taxes Consolidatoion Act 1997. They all appear to be Irish!
