EU Money Transfer

Hi,

I've recently moved to Germany and have just sorted out an apartment. I now need to transfer money from my Irish a/c (AIB) to my German a/c. However I don't see anyway of doing this online with AIB. If I call them will there be any transfer charges involved? I've transferred money before the euro came in and it was ridicously expensive. With my account here in Germany it's free to transfer money to Ireland so I'm presuming it's the same the other way round now that we have the euro! But just want to make sure :)

You can do it over the phone with AIB 24 Hour banking. Provided you have the destination IBAN it will cost 75c and take about a week (a few days for them to act on it and a few days to transfer.).
