I'm thinking of going to Estonia for a week in August - a few days in the capital first. Has anyone been to Estonia? What's the best route and is it worth the trek?
Tallinn old town is beautiful - well worth a day or two lots of nice things to do and see ... only downside is the stag party / Finnish Booze Cruise element which can make it a bit noisy in some bars/restaraunts at night.
I've never been elsewhere in Estonia .. I believe the islands on the Baltic coast are supposed to be very nice in summer ... they're supposed to be pretty unspoilt as they used to be a Soviet missile base !
was there during the month of feb, and it was baltic cold,, -14 one day ,, thought id never leave it fast enough, 3 days would of been loads, not 5, but hopefully august would be better,, nice town, girls , and cheap also.. 3 days can often be enough for these city breaks i think
