Estimate for wiring ceiling lights

Does anyone have any idea how much it would cost for me to get 8 ceiling roses removed & 8 ceiling lights wired in their place?
 
Do you not know anybody with a bit of DIY know-how who could do this for you? I doubt that you really need an electrician.
 
No that isn't an option at present which is why I am looking for an estimated price.
 
I think you would be well advised to get a qualified electrician to do the work rather than a handyman. Changing a light fitting is not always a simple matter of reconnecting the cables as they were on the old fitting. I'd say about €200 should cover you.
 
yeah in the region of €200-€250 sounds right unless your hanging chandeliers!!
 
Just got my new bathroom finished tonight.

For 5 x 11watt in 55watt out GU10 showerlights, I paid €100
For cables and bits and pieces etc, I paid €60
For Labour (Qualified Electrician (Nixer)) I paid €90 (Say 2.5 hours)
He even fitted the Mirror light

€250 all in

Very Happy
