Estate Agent in Dublin 15

I have to sell a house in Ongar, Dublin 15. It is not an area I know at all well. Obviously, the choice of estate agent is important. I don't know how good any of the local firms are, other than having received one recommendation to which I will give some weight.

If people have knowledge or experience that would help me in making a choice, I would be grateful if they were to share it with me. [If you are not sure that what you have to say is suited to a public forum, it might be better to use PM.]

I sold in D15 a few years ago and I called out 4/5 agents and just went through the process with them.You get a good feel by doing this as to who is good and who is not. I used the same process again recently. When I sold in D.15, I used DNG although market was completely different then.

Belated thanks to YOBR. Some complications arose, and I left the matter to one side until this week.

I will be in Dublin tomorrow (Saturday). I shortlisted two EAs and emailed them to ask if their offices would be open. There was no indication in my mail what business I had in mind. One replied to say no, but gave me names and phone numbers, and an offer to arrange a meeting during the day. The other replied to say no -- just that one word.

Which one do you think might try harder to sell the property? I think my shortlist has just got shorter.
