Can anyone recommend a good estate agent that has experience of selling in this area?

Most of them would have sold around here. I wouldn't bank on any of them to have any kind of special knowledge of the area, we found out about local development plans (positive) from a chat with our seller rather than the estate agent. Make sure they advertise on myhome.ie would be my advice.
I recommend Maguire and Fay of Francis St, [broken link removed]. They sold for me earlier in the year. May be more familiar with the numerous apartment complexes in that area, but I did get the impression that they had good local knowledge all around.

I know the very people. Felicity Fox are just the best in this area. They know the Dublin 8 area very very well. I have dealt with them (both buying and selling) and couldn't recommend them highly enough. I have no connection, other than the fact that I have dealt with Felicity professionally. Mention "Audrey " if you're talking to her, and do talk to her - she could sell coals to Newcastle!! (BTW they're in Sth Andrew Street, I think).
