Not sure if this was mentioned already but I only noticed it on the ESB website today. You can now register for electronic billing and bill payment via the ESB website.

thanks for that, I registered and was able to view all previous readings and consumption, and they even break down consumption for each month and give bar charts. Great find and excellent site from ESB.
 
Sorry - can't remember. May have been a prepayment rather than a discount or something like that...
