ESB Lynch Hotels Offer

Hi,

Wondering if anyone can throw any light on this.

Got a €105 Lynch Hotels voucher from ESB (part of a boiler service deal) to be used against 2 Nights B&B with one dinner.

Looking up one of their hotels online I saw that the total cost of such a weekend stay was €310.

I then noticed that there was a link on their web page saying any deal involving the ESB voucher had to be booked through that link. The same weekend came to €365.

This seems a bit underhand as the voucher details seemed to imply that you could just present the voucher on checkout with no prior notice.

So should I just book the €310 deal and kick up a stink if they don't honour the voucher in full?

I have a bit of a bee in my bonnet about Lynch Hotels as we stayed at Clar Inn for a wedding before and found we had paid a higher amount on the Clare Inn Web Site than other people had paid on the Lynch hotels Website. I looked both sites up and both now charge the same for a weekend I looked up, but one of them charged a €7.50 booking charge which the other didn't!!!

Does it just imply or does it definitely state? That's the main point. Perhaps the ESB can confirm.
