ESA and savings.

I claim ESA for myself and my husband. My mother-in-law has just put a large amount of money in a account for my husband and she has arranged with the bank that he cannot touch it until she passes away. Will this affect our benefits even if he has no access to it.

I think it depends on what the exact arrangements she has made with the bank as to whether it's reckoned as savings or not, also how much it is.
