Equity release mortgage for different property?

I wonder if anyone has experience or knows of options for equity release mortgages on a property that is currently mortgage free, with the intention of investing in a different property?

Most equity release options listed online seem to be restricted to home improvements on the mortgaged property.

For anyone interested, Finance Ireland via a broker are open to this.

ICS are due to offer a similar product in a few months.
