I was approached to put some telecoms equipment on my land in return for free service its an informal arrangement as I know the party involved.
Seemed like a great idea at the time. Just wondering what the legalities of it would be if there were no written contract would I be entitled to remove the equipment in the future should the company or my property be sold.
Would the company have rights to enter my land at any time etc.
I know people had a nightmare getting multichannel to remove equipment in Cork even those that had made legal arrangements with regard to it.

One way or another I would imagine that you need a solicitor and a written contract if you are seriously considering this opportunity.

Yes definitely get a written contract. Perhaps see if they will give you a deposit to pay for the cost of moving it if the company goes into liquidation or is sold.
