My dad who is in receipt of state contributory pension lives with me and is helping me to pay my mortgage. Just wondering if anyone can help and advise on what if anything he is entitled to claim for?

Poor man, such a shame he has to help pay your mortgage out of his old aged pension. Would you not consider letting a room instead to help bring in extra funds.

I'm sure the OP could do this - but then her poor father will be out on his backside which is clearly not what the OP wants.

OP, I would suggest calling to your local welfare office and speaking with them.

maybe your question should be 'am i entilted to claim for anything as i cant pay my morgage?'
im really confused by this question, i honestly am. id be surprised if he would be entilted to anything because if he was everyone would be moving their parents/adult children in with them so the state would pay/help pay for their morgage because the fact is your the person that would benefit from it

You're assuming that the OP's father is using his state contributory pension to help pay the OP's mortgage. That may not be the case (i.e. he may have other income or sources of funds).
