Ensuite bathroom conversion

Thinking of changing our ensuite bathroom, which has never been used, to an office. I'm starting a new job working from home and need to create some office space . We only have 2 bedroom both of which are being used. We would cap off toilet basin, shower etc and keep them in the shed so when we sell it could all be replaced.

Are there any issues I haven't thought of? Is this a silly move, can anyone give me advise of an alternative arrangment?

Is there a window in your ensuite to allow enough natural daylight? Depending on the hours you work it might be an important point.

If you are going to be self-employed you might not need to meet health and safety issues if it is only for yourself but if it a question of a new employer setting you up as a home worker then you would need to check this out carefully.
