heading to paris end of month staying near latin quarter, have looked for previous thread - if available cannot find it, any help with restaurants or night life in this area as we are bringing the men with us and need to keep them entertained.
 
Just back from Paris. I also stayed in the Latin Quarter in Hotel Christophe. Rue moffetard is a great street, lots of restaurants, coffee shops bars etc. There is an Irish pub called the Hideout just off this street where they have a happy hour on pints until 11.30pm at €2.50 each. Most places will charge between €4 and €8. The barman is also Irish. On the same street the restaurants have fixed price menus at €16 for starter, main course and dessert. Excellent value and quality. The metro stop at Place Monge is close bye.

Rue de Harpe is laden with restaurants of every type - good prices from about 12 euro upwards!!!
 
thanks guys for the information as the previous thread does not give much info on where to eat ect.
