English company not paying my PAYE/PRSI

hi Guys,

I have been working for a uk company for the past year now, and they have informed me that they are not registered for paye in ireland, but i am an employee of this company. Should i register myself as a sole trader?? or do i aproach this employer re getting a registration number? i have an employee contract etc... obviously the company has not paid employers prsi for me in ireland, is this an issue i should worry about also?
