Engineer driving me demented - what to do??

Sorry if I posted this in the wrong forum but didn't know where to post it!

I presumed he would do this now I can't get in contact with my engineer again.

How long have you been trying to contact the engineer?

If you are really stressed, is getting another engineer to do the job an option? I know it will cost you, but it may be worth the expense.

Have you paid any money to the original engineer? Did you agree a fee with them in advance?

Did you engage the engineer to do a snag list, to sign off at roof level or both?

nothing has been paid yet but the way things are going he wouldn't be getting anything off me! I was getting a good deal from him cause he was a friend of a friend!
he is actually a really lovely guy but just not very efficient well not for me anyway I will give him till tomorrow if he doesn't reply I will ask someone else to sign off on it.
I just wonder do I have to go through the whole process of getting it snag again etc...
