dosent need to goto jaguar any decent indepent with good diagnostic gear should be able to check it .where are you based?
If its an engine warning light thats on I would bring it to a Jaguar garage to get the fault identified. Engine warning lights usually mean something serious is wrong. I presume the handbook will give a brief description of what could be wrong, but it may need to be plugged into a diagnostic machine to get the real reason
