Engagement party venue Limerick

Hi!

Looking to have a family dinner and engagement party afterwards for friends etc......have plenty of ideas for the dinner but am not too sure about a suitable venue for the party.

I would like to have it in a bar, with possibly a late extension and finger food for about 20-30.

Any ideas or suggestions would be great!

Scotts In Alandale, might be worth a look.

Bobby Byrne's on O'Connell Avenue do food and have a small private function room.

I'm trying to keep it pretty much city centre so that would rule out Scotts, Russells etc..
Have been looking at Harris Bar...seems nice!
Anyone been to a party, heard anything bout it?

Have been to Bobby Byrnes for a work party and was nice....just a bit old fashioned may i say!?

If you want to keep it in the city - have you considered Pier One, the new George or move over the bridge to the Hilton.
