Hello, I am the sole attorney on an EPOA under the old system. My dad (Donor) has lost capacity and I'm at the beginning of getting all docs together to subnit to the wards of court office. I was looking through the document that my dad did, the one with Parts a, b, c, d, and e, and I've noticed I didn't put the execution date in part c where I signed. I know it says the document can't be altered, but could I just fill in the execution date? I'm not changing any dates or anything like that, just filling it in the date the donor signed the document in part c. Thanks for reading.

What about the documents that were sent out to the notified parties?

Whats your Solicitors advice?

The docs sent out have the execution date on them. I have no solicitor as I am doing an independent application. As I said it's just Part C, the part the Attorney signs, that I didn't complete the execution date on it.

The original docs would have been drawn up by a solicitor, I would have thought.

I'd recommend contacting them in the first instance.
