Employment Status: Public Servant Part time temporary for 6 years

Hi

I've been employed as a public servant for over 6 years on a temporary part-time contract. I haven't always operated with a written contract but did get a pension last year which i've backdated to when I started. What's my employment status - have I become permanent by virtue of years of service?

This might be some help.

I think after 5 years tempory service you are entitled to be offered fulltime employment. Check this with the the Department of Finance and the Public Service Executive Union - www.pseu.ie
