I was looking for some free legal advise or anyone who may have an answer to this question. If I worked for a company and signed a voluntary lay off form when they needed layoff's and in agreement to signing this lay off form they agreed to pay for my schooling which started later that year. I have the contract they and I signed. Now to find out the company in question has finally claimed bankrupcy. Does this company still legally have to pay for my schooling which was in my signed contract. I was curious if anyone knew if they do even tho they are claiming bankrupcy or is that contact void since they have no money? if someone could give me some insite since I have no money to legally go and get a lawyer to answer this question please let me know. or if you know where I can find this answer. please respond.
