I started up a small business two years ago which has thankfully been doing well.
I am now in the fortunate position where we are holding back on new business because of capacity and I am considering hiring a general manager to expand the business. The role of this person would be to run the business and all aspects of it.
It is really a one man operation and there is potential for a general manager to earn a decent wage based on him or her running the business well and increasing profits.
I am a full time PAYE worker and am not in a position financially to go at this full time.
Obviously I will get legal advice but just thought I'd float it here to see if anyone has an opinion.
