Employer PRSI Query

Hi

Is an empoyer obliged to make PRSI contributions for an employee while she is on maternity leave?

Assume employee is on maternity benefit and is not receiving any payment from employer during this period

Employers prsi is calcualted on the gross salary. If they are not paid, you don't pay any prsi.
