I work in a small company of 16 employees, now 4 of us are to be made redundant at the end of the month but my boss says he can't pay, so whats the next step. I want to make sure I have everthing I need before my time is up so does anyone know what is the next step.

Also since Dec last year I was put on a 3 day week and was claiming JB for the other days so does this mean I won't have a full 12 months of dole when I'm made redundant. Hubby is also unemployed and now gets nothing as his stamps ran out several months ago, so will we both get something now as we have no income anymore.

Replys would be greatly appreciated.

Your redundancy will be paid by the Insolvency fund if your employer is unable to pay. It takes a bit longer, anything up to 6 months.
If you have been on Jb since Dec last then you have used up some days (probably 2 or 3 per week for 40 or so weeks). The remainder will be available to you.
Apply to have your spouse added as your Dependant Adult
Make sure hubby still signs on for credits
